Bea Devlin MA
Qualified Nutritional Therapist Dip NT (CNM)
My aim is to help people of all ages to prevent and manage health issues by introducing positive changes in their diet and lifestyle.
What can nutritional therapy do for you?
-Optimise digestive and gut health
-identify and manage food allergies and intolerances
-strengthen the immune system
-achieve optimum nutrition for mother and child - before, during and after pregnancy
-improve energy levels
-offer preventative care against future ailments
-support a sports lifestyle and improve performance
-support emotional and psychological well-being
I focus on the clear connection between health and diet, with the goal of getting to the root cause of your health issues. After pinpointing the causes, I work with you to establish a programme to address them.
Consultations normally last between 60-90 minutes. I consider your history of past and present illnesses, as well as bowel habits, sleeping patterns, working environment and lifestyle. I will normally ask you to bring a completed food diary, as well as a list of medications.
Following the initial consultation, I prepare a plan of recommendations tailored to suit your own individual lifestyle and nutritional requirements.
I consult at the Jan de Vries Clinic in Queensferry, Edinburgh, every Wednesday and Friday, from 10am to 7pm. To make an appointment, please call 0131 526 3990.
The initial consultation is 60-90 minutes and costs £65. Follow-up consultations, of up to 60 minutes, cost £35.
