Apple Cider Vinegar is created by fermenting apples with yeast to produce alcohol. Next, acetic acid bacteria convert the alcohol to acetic acid. Longer fermentation period allows for the accumulation of a nontoxic slime composed of yeast and acetic acid bacteria, known as the mother.
Popularly used to aid weight loss, soothe stomachs, reduce gastric inflammation and ease sore throats, Apple Cider Vinegar has a long history of traditional medicinal use. But this fantastically diverse product can also be used as a hair conditioner, facial toner, all-purpose cleaner and even laundry detergent!
Organic Kitchen Apple Cider Vinegar is raw, unfiltered, and still with the ‘Mother’ culture from the fermenting process. This cider vinegar is perfect for adding tartness to sauces and salad dressings and won a 2 star Great Taste award in 2020 for it’s ‘cloudy, very natural and untampered with’ qualities. Ordinary vinegar contains about 4% acetic acid, whereas ACV usually contains 5-6% acetic acid which has many of the claimed health benefits.
Just add to cooking, salad dressing or even smoothies, or incorporate into your DIY beauty & skincare regime.
