What is Centaurium (Centaury)?
Centaurium umbellatum, used in our Centaurium tincture, is a small plant with purple flowers. It may be found in many parts of the world but especially in Middle Europe and Asia. The classification of the group of plants known as Centaurium is still in discussion and because of this, Centaurium umbellatum is sometimes also referred to as Centaurium erythrea.
It is said that the group of plants named Centaurium derived its name from the centaur Chiron, well known in Greek mythology for his skills as a herbalist.

Review
Have used this product ever since Mr de Vries suggested I try it for the problems I had been having with my digestion and acid reflux. It seems to help so much that at the moment I do not need to take the Omaprazole prescribed by my GP ( which can cause side effects with long term use.)
