Hypericum tincture may be taken internally for nerve pain but St Johns Wort Oil (Hypericum Oil) can be applied topically for a similar effect, with or without using the tincture internally. This oil can be used as a regular massage oil for its moisturising and healing effects. Alfred Vogel loved this age-old herbal remedy, which thrived in his native Switzerland. His principles required a thriving, sustainable source for our herbs. Through painstaking research and organic cultivation, the A.Vogel gardeners identified a species of Hypericum high in active agents and resistant to disease, and so helped create the glorious yellow-headed leafy stems whose tips are used to make this oil.

What is it used for?

  • Shingles/chickenpox
  • Sciatica
  • Other nerve pain e.g. neuralgia
  • Healing of minor burns
